Who is James Seibert?
James Seibert is an American football coach and former player. He is the head coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Seibert was previously the head coach at the University of California, Berkeley (Cal) from 2013 to 2016.
Seibert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He played college football at the University of Kentucky as a wide receiver and defensive back. After graduating from Kentucky, Seibert began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas.
After three seasons at Arkansas, Seibert joined the coaching staff at Fresno State University. He spent four seasons at Fresno State, coaching wide receivers and tight ends.
